The debut issue of the influential limited-edition art and fashion publication.

Founded by Stephen Gan, Cecilia Dean, and James Kaliardos, Visionaire launched in New York in 1991 as a collectible publication exploring the intersection of fashion, art, photography, and design. Each issue was produced in a limited run and conceived as a physical object as much as a magazine.

This inaugural issue, themed “The Innocent,” was produced in an edition of approximately 1,000 copies, making it one of the rarest and most sought-after issues from the series.

Pre-owned, great condition.
