A celebration of the utilitarian, this cast white metal clothespin plated in 24 kt gold jewelry was originally created for the Todd Oldham Collection Spring 1995 runway. Reimagined as adornment, the humble clothespin becomes sculptural, graphic, and elegant.
As Todd once noted:
"The design of the clothespin is spare and gorgeous and doesn't have one extra thing. The combination of materials is also beautiful; wood with a hint of metal. The best part is that they also work!"
